CLASSES at YAGF

AR-15 Fundamentals Class on May 4th, 8 am - 5 pm.  Four hours of classroom instruction in the Mother Club and 4 hours shooting on the Rifle Range.  $100 per person. Contact Close Quarters Armory to sign up or for details.  717-747-6460

Maryland CCW Class on May 18th - 19th, 8 am - 4 pm.  Classroom instruction in the Mother Club and practice on the Outdoor Pistol Range. $250 per person.  Contact Close Quarters Armory to sign up or for details.  717-747-6460

INDOOR PISTOL RANGE Announcements

Range is open, avoid the area where the work was done until barriers are removed.

The indoor pistol range will be closed on Monday evenings for 4H practice from 6:30-8:00pm beginning 3/11/24 through the month of May.

William Penn Pistol League

The William Penn Pistol League has completed its season will resume on September 5th, 2024.  The York & Adams Team participates in this 10 team league, shooting at six different locations.  League shoots are Wednesday nights starting in September and ending in March.  If anyone is interested in learning the Precision Pistol (Bullseye) discipline, please reach out to Mike Harter (For Members > Club Contacts & Positions).  ​

Trap & Skeet Announcements

Trap & Skeet Hours:  Tuesday (5pm-9pm or when finished) beginning March 12th.

Fish Pond Announcements

Kids Fish Day - The 2024 Kids Fish Day event went great although the wind made it challenging.  There were over 150 kids with the parents, grandparents and friends.  There were a lot of fish caught and many prizes awarded.  Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make this a great annual event.

 

Pond is open.  Reminders: Three trout per day, per angler. Record catches and releases in journal in bulletin board mailbox.  Please refer to bulletin board for general pond guidelines. PA Fish & Boat Commision Rules and Regulations apply when fishing in the YAGF pond.
